Bit9, the global leader in Advanced Threat Protection, today announced that it is placing further investment in to its presence in EMEA, with rapidly growing local teams in Central London, UK and Munich, identified as immediate targets for expansion. Bit9 will also be investing in its targeted channel approach and an aggressive campaign to triple its sales in EMEA year-on-year.
Initial investment will include new appointments in the sales and support fields within EMEA with a view to raising awareness and increasing sales across primary target sectors, namely e-commerce, financial services, government, healthcare, retail, technology and utilities. Additionally, Bit9 will continue to seek out ideal technology partnerships to extend outreach and are currently working with ArcSight, VeriFone and RSA Security.
Bit9 has signed 21 channel partners in EMEA, including five in the UK such as Prolinx and WebTech, and is actively recruiting more. The channel is a key component to the overall sales strategy in order to expand market presence and successful partners can benefit from increased revenue based on post-sales services. Partners are selected either as Authorised Resellers or Solution Providers, and are identified by their expertise and commitment to delivering next generation security solutions to protect enterprises from the advanced threat.
