The British Retail Consortium has today revealed that UK retail sales fell for a second month in February. Sales in stores open at least 12 months fell by 0.3 percent from the year earlier.

James Sleater, co-founder of bespoke London tailor Cad and the Dandy (C&D) credits his international clientele for helping the Saville Row business buck the trend and report above February sales. “We commute across the Atlantic to ensure that quintessentially elegant British tailoring is accessible to New Yorkers, and in return we have a large and loyal international customer base that come directly to our Saville Row store to experience the ‘best of British’ tailoring”
