hybris, a leading multichannel commerce software vendor, has today announced that the hybris B2C Commerce solution has been successfully deployed by Target Australia (www.target.com.au), one of Australia’s leading department stores comprising over 290 outlets across the country, to launch a new retail website.
Target is using hybris B2C Commerce as the main platform for its new website which will make it easier for customers to access the company’s range of goods and products and to have greater choice in how they do their shopping.
According to David Hamilton, Delivery Centre Manager, Target IT; “The new online store will complement our existing bricks & mortar operations. We have taken our time entering the online selling arena to ensure we got it right and to make it the experience our customers would expect from Target.
“Target decided to use hybris as its online eCommerce platform having looked at a range of competitive offerings. The technology used is designed for retail companies, which means it is customizable and can be updated based on new product developments. We have a long term partnership with hybris and we have been happy with the team’s commitment to meeting Target’s needs,” continued Hamilton.
