Prior to joining News International, Tinker held roles with Emap Radio and IPC Media and at independent sales houses in the North.
Tinker told How-Do that: “I am leaving my role as regional director of sales, with immediate effect and will move to London for the next 30 months. I am genuinely sad to be leaving my teams in Manchester and Glasgow and leaving the business ‘up north’ as I have made a lot of friends and great working relationships.
“However, I’ve been presented with an opportunity to help lead on a plan for making News International Commercial smarter and more efficient and for those people who know me well, they will know that I’ve grown to love the change management side of the job.
