Courion Corporation, leaders in access governance and compliance, today announced the close of its fiscal year with its strongest quarter and annual sales to date. Following another profitable quarter, Courion enjoyed record results in 2010, including the highest sales and revenue numbers in the company’s history and a 30 per cent improvement in sales over 2009. Courion also celebrated a number of achievements and milestones throughout the year in the areas of product innovation, customer success, industry recognition and overall company growth and expansion.
“2010 was an exciting year for our company. Customers showed a strong understanding of the need for a comprehensive and coordinated solution to define, enforce and verify access policy, with over 60 per cent of new customers licensing multiple Courion products,” said Christopher Zannetos, president and CEO of Courion.
“We attribute much of our success to the fact that organisations now understand the need to evolve from access security to access risk management. As companies continue to grapple with constantly increasing audit hurdles and more companies accelerate the electronic engagement of their customers and partners, we are in a better position than ever before to help them understand and manage access risk while enabling business operations to move faster and be more efficient.”
