Corporate Visions Inc., the leading marketing and sales messaging, tools and skills company is partnering with the Association of Professional Sales (APS) to produce the APS’ first annual conference, ‘Sales Transformations’ and industry event ‘Conversations That Win,’ 10-11 June, 2015.
Sales and marketing professionals looking to transform their conversations with customers will hear from a range of expert speakers including Stanford University professor Dr. Zakary Tormala (a leading expert in persuasion), business leaders from IBM, Deutsche Telekom and Ericsson, as well as Corporate Visions’ chief strategy and marketing officer, Tim Riesterer, a best-selling author and specialist in consumer behavioural science.
Stanford professor Dr. Zakary Tormala, a social and consumer psychologist and an expert on persuasion, will discuss why people make buying decisions and share an overview of his latest research on sales behaviours in the buying cycle. Corporate Visions’ Tim Riesterer will speak about visual storytelling tools and how organisations and individuals can enhance sales skills by integrating findings from the decision-making sciences into their approach.
On day one, the ‘Sales Transformations’ agenda will focus on the evolution of selling and the role of marketing and salespeople in changing the sales paradigm; whilst on day two ‘Conversations that Win’ will dive into the messaging, tools and skills companies need to have great customer conversations throughout the buying cycle.
Over the course of the two days, attendees will hear from leaders in business and sales including Dave Jenkins, Global Programme Owner of Financial Selling Portfolio, Sales Learning, IBM, Helge Bock, Business Consultant, Europe & Technology, Deutsche Telekom and George Pastidis, Regional Learning & Development Consultant, Ericsson.
Tim Riesterer said: “We are delighted to partner with the Association of Professional Sales to produce this exciting two-day event. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the industry to gather and challenge the status quo in sales - looking at how they can improve the way they conduct customer conversations, hearing about the latest developments and research in the industry and learning how to gain more value from their sales activities.”
Nick Porter, the APS’ Chair of the Board of Trustees, adds: "The APS are pleased to have a partner such as Corporate Visions as a sponsor and to bring such an event to reality, in our first year. Whilst the association is growing rapidly and we increase our member events and content, we could not have established such an event so quickly, without such a forward-thinking partner.
Porter concludes, “With the largest sales leaders and academics event in London this summer, the APS is pleased to continue its journey as a Not For Profit, to represent sales as a profession and install it as a destination career for school leavers".
The APS promotes the interests of the sales profession, encouraging standards, knowledge building, professionalism and promoting excellence and best practice.
