Payments expert Paul Simpson has been appointed as sales director at the UK’s leading Bacs approved bureau, First Capital Cashflow. Simpson brings with him over 20 years experience in the payments sector to First Capital Cashflow’s team of banking and technology experts.

Paul’s role builds on First Capital Cashflow’s growth strategy, aiding the development of the organization's partner channel programme and positioning as the most technologically advanced Bacs-approved bureau in the UK.

Paul also holds a solid, in-depth understanding of payment processing integration with core banking, accounting systems such as SAGE, Oracle, Salesforce, payroll systems and SWIFT/SEPA.
Upon joining First Capital Cashflow from a competing Bacs approved bureau, Paul stated:
“When I was offered the opportunity to join the company as Sales Director, it was of course a pleasure to accept. To be able to contribute to future growth plans and develop their partner scheme means that I can help ensure First Capital Cashflow retains its lead in the payment and direct debit sector. I have followed First Capital Cashflow for the last few years and seen them grow year on year, annually strengthening their payment solutions. My decision to join was heavily influenced by the company’s cutting-edge technology, advanced infrastructure, level of security, reporting capabilities and bespoke approach to meeting client demands - from simple and affordable to bespoke API technology, combined with their mission statement ‘We aim to be a long term trusted partner, not just a basic outsourced service provider’. What also impressed me was the fact that many of the staff at First Capital Cashflow have worked for banks in the past, so they really understand the issues that banks and customers face.”
First Capital Cashflow’s Managing Director, Conrad Broadbent, added:
“The appointment of Paul as our Sales Director is key to our strategic and growth plans. The company has objectives to meet over the next few years, which Paul will help us to achieve. Paul is an impressive, well-contacted and highly regarded individual within the payments and Direct Debit space. He will be a great asset to our company and bring additional value.”
