News - Entry for National Sales Awards now open

The 2013 National Sales Awards in partnership with Huthwaite International has launched today and is calling for the UK’s leading sales professionals and businesses to enter the awards. The programme is free to enter until the 16th May and winners will be announced at the ceremony on 7th November at London’s Troxy.

Entering its 17th year, the National Sales Awards is the most prestigious accolade for the sales industry in the UK. An agenda setting programme, the National Sales Awards rewards individuals and teams who are demonstrating best practice and outstanding achievements in all aspects of sales. Previous winners have included LivingSocial, Virgin, RBS, Royal Mail, Serco, Everything Everywhere and Sweatshop, across a range of categories.

The National Sales Awards is supported by previous Apprentice winner and Founder of Raw Talent Academy, Lee McQueen. He commented: “These awards are a true celebration of the sales industry - showcasing and rewarding the best in the industry to further encourage confidence in British business. Sales are a crucial part of the British economy, and this is a chance to celebrate its importance and reward the unsung heroes of the recession. I would encourage businesses to mark their achievements through these awards.”

Teams and individuals from organisations of all sizes and sectors are invited to register for award categories. The new look event will see businesses and individuals being rewarded in categories including –

Telephone Sales Executive
Field Sales Executive
Sales Manager
Sales Director
Telephone Sales Team 
Field Sales Team
Contact Centre Sales Team
Customer Service Team
International Sales Team

The National Sales Awards has distinguished itself by its robust judging process and the quality of businesses and individuals taking part in the programme. Around 80 senior sales professionals and specialists participate in the judging for the awards, combining expertise around sales competencies with disciplines ranging from customer service and marketing to account management and leadership.

The Awards close for entry on 28th June and finalists will be announced in July. Winners will be honoured at the National Sales Awards ceremony in London at the Troxy on 7th November 2013.
