SugarCRM, the market-leading customer relationship management (CRM) company, today announced that Glenn Cross has joined the company as executive vice president of worldwide field operations. Cross will direct SugarCRM’s sales, services and support organizations, and will be responsible for all customer-facing initiatives.

Before joining SugarCRM, Cross was senior vice president for worldwide sales and services for Xsigo Systems, which was recently acquired by Oracle. Prior to Xsigo, Cross was senior vice president of global sales, services and support for Meru Networks, and was a key member of the executive team that took the company public in 2010.

SugarCRM has also named new executives to its management team with a focus on sales and marketing. The new appointments are: Vincent Beese, senior vice president of enterprise sales; Lorna Heynike, senior vice president of marketing and products; and Anshu Agarwal, vice president of marketing.
