Spicers has announced a new regional structure for the design of its sales department, that the wholesaler states is intended give a greater focus on customer status. Spicers’ new regional structure is to incorporate three sales regions.
The external account management team is now to have additional resources that Spicers believe will provide a faster response to their customers through the new internal sales team. Each account manager is to have a designated internal account manager assigned to work alongside them, the change is also to see requests for information or pricing on EOS and technology product included as part of this internal account manager role.
New regional sales director for Northern UK, Bruce Davie, moves from his role as furniture sales director and will head the newly expanded region adopting a customer base from the North and North East of England. Mark Watson becomes regional sales director for all customers in the Midlands and South West welcoming, while Paul Clerke will continue to manage Spicers dealer partners in the South and East of the UK.
Spicers sales and marketing director Tom Rodda commented on the change: “We now have a team totally aligned to focus on working with all of our accounts managed within the newly created three UK regions,” he said. “With the introduction of the full internal sales team each of our customers has a named contact that can provide them with the support and service they need from a sales angle.” |
