ITV has announced a new regional sales structure which aims to closer align its sales functions outside of London and ITV Commercial, according to The Drum website.
The structure and strategy of the London commercial team will be altered to see it work more collaboratively with clients and agencies, while the regional team will focus on becoming a multi-disciplined’ sales function across Business Development, Trading & Activation and Creative Multiplatform Solutions.
Regional sales director Jason Spencer, commented: “The changes outlined today reflect the evolving needs of advertisers and agencies in a multiplatform world. This new structure is about ensuring that we continue to find better ways to turn our insight, ideas and service into competitive advantage for our agencies and clients outside London, in order to help them grow their business.”
Offices in Carlisle and Newcastle will be merged, based in Newcastle, while offices in Plymouth, Bristol and Cardiff will also be merged and based in Bristol. It is understood that a small number of roles will be made redundant as a result of the mergers.
